We are looking for a Site Supervisor to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Cranbrook, BC.
Primary Role
Proficient scheduling, planning and resource allocation to keep projects on track. Clear and effective communication, both verbal and written, for coordinating with teams and subcontractors. An innovative and efficient approach to resolving challenges that arise during construction — and communicating any changes with all staff and sub-trades.
Responsibilities
- Keep all renovations on schedule, at quality workmanship, and clearly communicated with the customer.
- Achieve strong customer satisfaction on every project.
- Maintain clear communication with subcontractors.
- Bring a clear understanding of the construction process and the knowledge of how to construct and renovate projects.
- Ensure tasks and projects are completed efficiently.
Tasks
- Schedule projects.
- Coordinate employee locations day-to-day.
- Book site inspections.
- Control site progress.
- Monitor site cleanliness and safety.
- Order materials.
- Update client spaces.
- Ensure the project stays on schedule.
- Supervise trades.
- Coordinate with office staff for selections.
- Maintain a clear understanding of building codes.
- Project management.
- Complete records for site reports.
- Attend site management meetings.
- Liaise with the General Manager.
- Assess training needs of staff.
- Communicate potential employee advancement to the General Manager.
